NTUA presented MatEl in Prague Next-Gen Technology Meet Up in Prague, Czech Republic

On 20 September 2023, MatEl’s coordinator, Prof. Ioanna Zergioti, from NTUA, was invited as a guest speaker in the Prague Next-Gen Technology Meet Up, organized by one of MatEl’s partners, AMIRES, and hosted by HiLASE Centre and Brain4Industry. The event focused on photonics, micro-optics and 2D material industry. Prof. Zergioti gave a presentation on “The future of 2D materials and their application”, bringing an interesting outlook on the recent developments and the importance of 2D materials, with a focus on their specialization, i.e. laser printing (using Laser Induced Forward Transfer) & laser sintering of conductive materials. It was the perfect opportunity to showcase our Project MatEl, its technology development, its objectives and its expected outcomes.
